A maid in the household of business tycoon Lucio Tan’s brother, Mariano Tanenglian will file serious illegal detention and other cases to the Department of Justice.
According to the victim’s lawyer, Atty. Anna Marie Trinidad, they will file the complaint as soon as her client, 18-year old Mary Jane Sollano recovers from the trauma she suffered due to the ordeal. Trinidad stated that Sollano suffered physical, emotional, and psychological abuse from Tangenglian’s wife and two children.
The victim’s parents only knew about her condition through Aljane Bacanto, another helper of the Tanenglians who managed to escape from the residence. Sollano’s family then asked for the help of various government agencies to free their daughter from her employers.
